Boonah Town Run 34-38 hours per week
Casual position leading to full time from Monday – Friday

• To be able to deliver parcel and pallets in the Boonah area
• Current and Valid Australian LR Driver’s License & Forklift License if possible
• Exceptional organisational & time management skills with the ability to manage multiple workloads
• Self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly efficient problem solver
• A solid and strong focus on safety
• Strong commitment to exceeding customer service requirements
• The ability to make a positive contribution within a team environment

Then and Now..

Boonah Carrying Co in 1989 High Street Boonah, currently the Lankowski Building (Sullivan and Nicolaides, Ramsy Accountant). Was owned by Doug Behrendorff.
Boonah Carrying Co moved to Mount French Road on April Fool's Day in 1991. Doug Behrendorff sold the business on the 1st of July 2000 to Gary and Linda Faulkner. Who have been the proud owners for the past 23 years.

36 hrs per week – Monday – Friday - afternoon/night shift – 3pm start

Operating a forklift is a must & experience in Storeman operational position within the general freight business is preferred but not essential. This position requires the right person to hit the ground running, ensuring that all facets of operations are implemented and maintained to a high standard. This is an all-round position covering all things operations, forklift use, load and unloading of trucks, freight management & customer service. In depth training will be provided.

Boonah Carrying Co are currently looking to employ

Boonah Carrying Co are currently looking to employ a Heavy Diesel Mechanic to work closely with our Maintenance Manager. On our fleet of Volvo, Ud and Kenworth Trucks at our Boonah Depot. This is a permanent position for 38 hours a week plus overtime as required. The successful applicant must have several years' experience in the heavy vehicle industry, and have the following qualities:
- A good knowledge of all things mechanical on trucks and forklifts
- Honest
- Reliable
- Able to work unsupervised, safely and cost effectively
- Easy going and happy to work as part of a team
- Available to work Saturdays and on occasion after hours if and when required
- Liaise with drivers, management and office staff
- Keep concise maintenance records of all work carried out
- Deal with parts ordering and shipping
- Ensure our equipment is kept at a very high standard, both appearance and safety
- Pride in workmanship and attention to detail
